South Tower Armouring Guild is a Canadian based "mom and pop" business, registered in Ontario. We have been in business since 1989, and we make and sell suits of medieval style armour, swords, daggers, and chain mail.  Brenda and I (Bill Fedun) have been working carefully to expand the service side of our business during this entire time, and generally speaking, we have been successful.  In 1995, thanks to Robert Turner of Ottawa, we went "on line" with our web site and later on, in 1999, Peter Westergard of Leonardo's Dream Works did a complete makeover.  We keep adding interactive "stuff" to our web site...for instance, the library (accessible through the "Visit Other Lands" link as well as a library link on the main page), and would like to get some games and things as well.  I am open to suggestions!
 

        We finally have a showroom...it is above our shop.  Gary Walker and Brenda and I built a two story shop on my property which sees a lot of use.  Finally we have winter heat, lots of light, and opportunity to take pictures of the stuff we make. In the downstairs shop, we try to satisfy a miriad of clients each with their own ideas and dreams.  I have been attempting to balance the creativity of custom work with the economies of scale of producing a viable shop "line" of products, and THAT is a long ongoing process!  We have been keeping our backlog under 4 weeks (mostly) though of course in the summer months,(June, July and August) we can't promise we will make up items until after the show season....which is to say sometime in September.  This is because we are away doing the summer shows.  Many people's first exposure to the South Tower world is the Ontario Renaissance Festival we do every summer!
