Helmets from Normandy, and other Norse Occupied Lands
12 guage bowl cut and RIVETED back together so that is it
oval
in shape instead of round. Most people's heads are
oval
instead
of round!
Pretty. Upgradeable. Ready to fill in the cheeks with
chain
mail or solid steel if you prefer.
With spangens...these are brass spangens, but steel is more
period,
and in my opinion, better looking. (You would need steel spangens
if
you
plan to upgrade this to battle ready.)
I find that this process still allows a
good
half to 3/4 inch of blue foam padding at the sides. So some
people
prefer this helm over the heavier "ten series" helms on page four.
This
helm is heavy enough to make into a real battle helm.
Sometimes people like splints on the back instead of a big old
curtain
plate. No difference in price...just make sure you let me
know!
Splints look more period.
Leather suspension system for this
helmet............$42.00
