Retail Sales of Swords Knives and Armour
plus an extensive repair facility for all
types of swords, knives, bayonets,
kitchen knives and daggers.
The South Tower Armouring Guild is Canada's leading source for hard to find items for the re-enactor. We have acted as a clearing house of information and a source of supply for several years now (since 1995!), and we believe we have a winning formula for success ..... repeat business from satisfied customers. If we don't have it, we can usually get it from our extensive network of artists and artisans.
The team.... we still supply blades from CAS Iberia, as well as make our own right here in our workshop in Metcalfe, Ontario. Our armour has been made for us by Eric Dube from Iron Forge Armouries and of course, the shop is active, making helms and breastplates every day. Lately it has been particularly active in polishing, re-plating and re-finishing swords from various Public and Private institutions. I am proud to be picked to repair the swords for the Scottish Rite Masons in Eastern Ontario, and especially proud to win the bid for the repair of the ceremonial swords for my beloved Canadian Military.
We still make our own chain mail at the castle, I even wrote a book on the subject so that people could try out the craft for themselves. (Its a good book too...available in both English and French!) Our prices have been running in the neighborhood of $100.00 per square foot ..... a very attractive price, especially for our US customers who get a real deal when you consider that those are skinny Canadian Dollars!
We still supply cloaks and daggers to grooms, brides, spies and ambassadors.
We carry the usual range of "Do-it-yourself" equipment ..... shield blanks, spun tops for helm making, chain mail rings coils and raw wire, all at prices determined partly by the quantity you order them in.
Occasionally dealers contact us. Dealers rate available for quantity
orders. Please write on letterhead and include your applicable
Canadian tax identification numbers (or state equivilent)
